"Florida Snook" is a custom framed original painting by Daniel Winters. The painting was created with watercolor and inks applied to white 100% cotton fiber paper. The inks were loosely drawn into the wet paper with sharpened twigs, and allowed to bleed, for a rustic look which embellishes the rough texture of the paper. "Florida Snook" was inspired by fly fishing and boating in and around the coast of Florida.
Total edge to edge frame size is 23.25'' tall by 30.75'' wide. The piece is framed with 3'' double matt with the off-green inside matt chosen to compliment the tones in the painting and offset the white paper. All framing materials are acid free, and archivally correct, including UV resistant anti-glare conservation glass. The back is sealed and has includes framing wire for hanging. Once hung, this painting will last generations with minimal fading, yellowing or distortion.
